Live Webinar: Midyear Update on U.S. Export Controls and Sanctions 2024

6月26日下午1点 - 2:30 pm

$195

We’re nearly halfway through 2024. Want to be brought current on developments in export controls over the first half of the year in just 90 minutes? ECTI is here for you.

If you want to stay in command of your export compliance risks, you need to know how those risks may have changed. And a big part of those changes are regulatory developments. 2024 has been an active year for the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) and the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), both of which have published final rules. Now is a good time to take a breath and catch up on changes to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and related Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions programs. You will leave this webinar with valuable insights into the previous six months of developments, the ability to cut through the clutter to what is essential, and an understanding of new regulatory requirements your organization must address.

Topics will include:
•  The current state of EAR Russia export controls: new license requirements; remaining license exceptions; special rules for reexports, industrial / chem-bio items, 奢侈品, agency compliance guidance, 等.
•  Prospective expansion of ITAR exemptions for Australia and the United Kingdom.
•  Modifications to Category XI of the U.S. Munitions List (USML).
•  Changes to the prohibited country list.
•  Additional DDTC guidance for universities and research facilities.
•  Major relaxation of EAR license requirements for Australia and the UK.
•  Latest advanced computing / semiconductor and semiconductor manufacturing equipment rules for China and other destinations.
•  Recent tightening of Russia sanctions and related compliance guidance.
•  EAR Country Group changes: additions and deletions.
•  Revisions to the Commerce Control List (CCL): multilateral and unilateral amendments.
•  Further expansion of the foreign-direct product rule (FDPR).
•  Changes to camera- and Specially Designated National (SDN)-related license requirements.
•  And whatever else regulators might send our way prior to the webinar!
